Course Format & Re-charge Your Battery Options

The Intensive courses are offered in consecutive day format with one day off after 4 or 5 days, or they can be scheduled as a split day format with a break in between the schedule.

Homework is assigned most nights of the course and we also recommend course content review each day.  Course content includes both practical and theory components and it is common to feel the Pilates benefits transform your technique/form throughout the duration of the courses.

Many students create a ‘Pilates/Fitness/Wellbeing Bubble’ whilst attending the courses in order for them to enjoy focusing on absorbing the most from the experience.

A maximum of 5 hours on the Intensive Program is advised which tests have proven to be the maximum duration of efficient learning within one day.

Numerous options and facilities are available for time outside course hours all within a short distance of Core Pilates.  You can book into:

  • Pilates classes at Core Pilates (private/reformer/total barre)
  • Fitness classes at numerous health & fitness centers in walking distance
  • Siwm lengths/attend classes at swimming pool

The course costs include course materials.  Post-course requirements are self practice of the course content, practice teaching with friends/family/clients and observation hours of either a certified STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer (IT) or Instructor who has been certified.  Observing an IT or certified instructor is ideal, however if this is not possible due to geography restraints, the student can watch the provided course DVDs and log these hours as observation.

Exam fees apply and these are paid either directly to STOTT PILATES in Canada if sitting an exam via the proctored option or directly through Core Pilates if sitting the exam at our venue.
